What is the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation?DVR is an agency whose primary purpose is to provide planning and guidance to help a person achieve employment. DVR can provide the services that are necessary to make a person qualified and ready to enter the job market. What can DVR do for me?The answer to this question is found in the federal laws and state regulations that govern DVR policy. See DVR Services for a full list as it is stated in the law. How does DVR work?DVR's purpose is to assist a person in developing a plan called an Individualized Employment Plan (IPE). The plan contains services that allow a person to avoid or overcome the limitations of the disability so their employment goal can be achieved.
